But the basic design is good.

Savings can be seen on some hardware and clips. I also have a Feedback Sports Ultralight that appears to be modeled after a western bike. The design is very similar and the West bike is definitely lighter, but the clamps don't feel as strong and the main head clamp that holds the bike isn't as good. There is also too much plastic on some wearing parts, which is very noticeable with the joint head up to the aluminum clamping arm and gnaws with frequent use. The bike tube will not follow when you unscrew it for bike entry as you have to manually slide it back to fit the bike in the soft jaws. The outward movement of the jaws as the handle is unscrewed is a good indicator of a fully loosened clamp for easy hose removal. I've had a few instances where I didn't loosen my jaws enough and jacked the bike up only to have the bike stand wiggle and knock tools out of the tool tray. If you get used to it or keep it in mind, everything will be fine. For the average user this shouldn't be a problem once you get used to it, but when you ride multiple bikes in nicer conditions it's annoying. It might be a decent beginner stand at this price point, but I wouldn't put it anywhere near the 85 pound mark because of the head design. a choice of durable material and a handle that has a tear even when new (the tear may worsen over time).
