This hose has an end that is larger than the inside diameter. then others that I tried and slipped on easily. As others have said, you may need to cut off some pieces from one end. Fits my '87 Mustang 302 which is about 1" in diameter. the end. Some Fords have a larger diameter. hose end of the thermostat housing than the hose end of the water pump.
