Review on Enhance your Mixology Skills with Winco Wooden Muddler in Lacquered Walnut by Brockington Zuniga

It's hard not to give these 4 stars but something needs to be said. I bought this for my home bar, thought the price was too good to be true! Well that was kind of the case, if you have access to decent sandpaper this can "almost" be solved. So, as I said, this is made of lacquered wood. One that obviously easily dissolves with hard alcohol (which you use to make drinks), so I figured I'd grind up the mash (the part that does the squeezing). After sanding the major faces I found out the problem that the ram head has rivets/pits that can't be sanded unless you have the time and a file. Long story short, I washed it in the washing machine, then put it in hot water and washed again and it seems to have helped! The bungler's head is a much lighter color, but it does its job as well as anyone else. The reason it has three stars is because my tools have to be in perfect condition when I buy it.
