It worked fine for a while

I bought this in September 2018 mainly because a friend had it and I liked its size and sound. Sony makes good products, doesn't it? Mine worked great for a while, but then it wouldn't turn off without a power outage. Now the CD player doesn't work anymore. So far the radio has worked flawlessly. I only had it 4 months. I hope it's just a lemon but I'm very wary of ordering it again. I don't blame the seller for anything. It is just a defective product.
