I have bought at least ten of these units for family and friends. Sony does a great job, but the one unique feature that makes it a real winner is how easy it is to use its USB port to play music stored on "flash drives".

Great sound for a bedside table. My 20 year old Sony, three times the size, still works great and has a great base. But for this size it sounds good for an older man who wants to hear music clearly without blowing it up at the neighbors. I'm having trouble pairing with my wireless headphones so the verdict on that will have to come out with a few more tries, but I've found that I'm having some technological issues with it.

I bought this in September 2018 mainly because a friend had it and I liked its size and sound. Sony makes good products, doesn't it? Mine worked great for a while, but then it wouldn't turn off without a power outage. Now the CD player doesn't work anymore. So far the radio has worked flawlessly. I only had it 4 months. I hope it's just a lemon but I'm very wary of ordering it again. I don't blame the seller for anything. It is just a defective product.

Received it today and it seems good. Receives radio stations, but I don't know how many. I didn't play with it much today. It would be great if they had a remote and distance feature for that. The instructions are too long on an unfriendly repetition sheet and they aren't very well written when it comes to the step-by-step process. . I bought this CD/Radio after buying 3 Bose Wave CDs/Radios. After a power outage on New Year's Eve I decided I needed a battery powered CD/radio. The radio exceeded all my expectations. I really liked this Sony portable CD player. It plays any audio CD and can even serve as an amplifier for my computer with headphones on the audio input. It also has a USB input and a Megabass switch. The FM radio is digital but is missing a feature which I unfortunately overlooked which is why I'm rating it 4 stars out of 5.
