I am very glad I bought this light bar. I was hesitant at first because it looked cheap, but when it arrived and opened the box it was pretty solid. It has a good weight so it must be made with quality. Very easy to install, comes with mounting hardware (which I didn't need). It's literally plug and play (if you have a wiring harness kit). It took me quite a long time (about 3 hours) to install and connect everything because I'm very specific and don't do crappy work. The light itself is pretty damn bright. Depending on how you aim your rod, you'll get the most out of your rod. I pointed mine slightly upwards because I installed it on a car and not a truck (I don't care what you say). And since I have it pointed up, I can see up to ¼ mile clearly in front of me in the dark. I can neither confirm nor deny the waterproofness of this light bar. I asked a question on this site and a few people said they had no issues with water damage. Haven't had any rain since install so I'm no help here. I can just use some silicone to seal the nooks and crannies to avoid possible moisture or water ingress. waterproof. You can't beat this. Well maybe...
