I only use one hand so it's really difficult for me to control and squeeze the piping bag properly so I make stuffed eggs although I don't even try to decorate cakes anymore and it's hard for me Fill them with a piping bag, don't risk a huge mess of filling gushing out of the tip or dripping out of the tip "without permission" so I decided to try this tool. I love it! It is extremely easy to use and can be operated with just one hand. Full pressure on the plunger's thumb throttle delivers the exact amount to generously fill a stuffed egg, and the tube holds the perfect amount to generously fill 12 stuffed egg halves, which is also about as much as there is in each of my Snap & Store eggshells. This allows me to generously and evenly fill each tray with the confidence that I won't overfill or underfill as I prepare a whole massive batch of stuffed eggs. I don't think this offers the precise, steady control needed to swipe the shell and letter edges. So if you have two hands to use and control a piping bag properly, you should use a piping bag for good cake decorating, but this is the PERFECT tool for stuffing stuffed eggs! It took me a few minutes to fill the tube completely and completely with air bubbles, but I didn't mind at all because the ease of filling my balls once the tube was filled was more than made up for.
