Seeing a lot of spinner people looking at them I thought I'd give a spinless review. I'm an avid mountain biker. I've been using my newest shoes for 15 years and prefer to keep them simple with cheap velcro shoes. These shoes look good, fit great (I usually run in a 44, bought a 44 here and they fit great) and are comfortable on the bike. As mentioned, they don't come with clips, so plan accordingly. The clip attachment area is conveniently placed and provides just the right adjustment for any other riding shoe. I rode three miles slowly at first, making adjustments as needed to go faster. no problem. The shows are also well ventilated which is nice. I typically ride 15-20 miles of tech singletrack three days a week and had no problems for the first few weeks. Without proper toe or tongue adjustment, it will chafe my ankle a bit. Quick change of socks and everything was ok. Also, the clip protrudes from under the spikes, so beware of hardwood floors and other flooring that may have issues with this. Overall - great shoe for the price. I would recommend it to a friend. buy again. etc.
