Review on Salomon Bungee Phantom Trail Running Shoes by Jacob Mayberry

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unreasonable wear and tear on the upper of the shoe at the junction of the mold, near the pinky.

This is my fourth or fifth Salomon shoe. I like the fit, but I'm sick of the same wear and tear problem: a tear in the upper at the molding seam near the pinky toe, well before any signs of wear can be seen throughout the shoe. I will not buy this brand again.

Pros
  • This shoe is very comfortable. The size is as expected. I hope to wear them on a long hike soon.
Cons
  • The laces don't fully cross, causing tension on one side.
