Salomon Bungee Phantom Trail Running Shoes Review

This is my fourth or fifth Salomon shoe. I like the fit, but I'm sick of the same wear and tear problem: a tear in the upper at the molding seam near the pinky toe, well before any signs of wear can be seen throughout the shoe. I will not buy this brand again.

Salomon customer for over 10 years. Can't match the comfort and durability in this price range. I've had enough inferior shoes to know they're worth every penny. I usually wear them casually for a year and they use them as work shoes for another year. I just got this pair but the fit and comfort is spot on and I expect them to last as long as the previous pairs I've had. I was tricked into buying an "American Made" New Bal. last year for more money than I normally spend on Solomons. never again

I bought a Pro Series trail runner for 80,000. 250€ shoes. NOW I knew I wanted something that wouldn't break easily. So I have it. and they fit and look great. very reliable and do a good job. Thank you Salomon for investing in your product and NOT your marketing.

I bought my first pair of Salomon many years ago and still have them. I was excited to receive another pair and couldn't wait for them to be delivered. I receive the box and can't wait to rip it open and try on my new pair of shoes. What I saw when I opened the box was the most disgusting thing I couldn't even imagine! I bought these shoes on December 8th, 2020 as a gift for the turn of the year. Today is April 5th 2021 and now I have to buy another pair because they have holes. We have bought many pairs and this has never been a problem.

Best shoes for street and everyday, contra-versa, perfect knuckles, great laces, I don't need to get better all day! Limited arch support.

I'm a natural, so shoes let me run cross-country, jump bolder, and have a versatile shoe that looks and feels like the company loves what they do. Designed these shoes well they do I have had several Solomons and am looking forward to the shoe I was surprised it was only $97. Wow. Great trail shoe for only 100ish. I can't wait to get on the trails.

Salomon shoes seem to be a few sizes small compared to other brands, always tight. The quality of this shoe looks questionable for $$.

The shoes lasted for almost 2 full hikes. The laces are snapped, the sides are torn. I will never buy a Salomen product again. I'll stick to my chips

Without keeping the feet dry, the healing partially broke down within a few days, holes only formed after 3 months. Mostly from random walks and hikes. I used to love Salomon shoes but this pair was terrible. Maybe try a different model. I never write reviews, let alone negative ones, but I hope I can save some of you some money!

As the name suggests, these shoes are very thin. The upper of the shoe started tearing at the crease over the ball of the foot after 2 months of use. 4 months in use and the shoes just fall apart.

Fit: Wide but overall good Grip: Excellent Lifespan: 8 months and cracks Moisture Resistance: ZERO I wasn't expecting blood but my feet got soaked on the wet grass. Buy again? Not for this price.

I've been buying Solomon shoes for about 7 years and have not returned to any other brand of running or hiking shoes since then. Solomon makes amazing shoes. Very attractive and comfortable.

I had to carry it back after only 2 minutes. The shoe makes a noise that sounds like you are crushing a plastic box. Not used to this inferior Solomon par.

These shoes are just amazing! I wanted to try them out and take them apart for my next packing adventure, I wore them to Disney World for 10 days and they didn't need to be broken in at all! Comfortable and despite being low profile I haven't twisted my ankle a few times! Will buy them again when I wear them!

They turned out great and feel great but not worth the money, they are short lived. I kept them on for six months and was almost done, usually a $130 shoe lasts me a few years.

I love these shoes! They are not only very comfortable but also great on the track. I like the quick laces and the top pocket so the lace doesn't get in the way.

I have several pairs of Salomon, unfortunately this one is too stiff and loose, not as comfortable as CrossFit 4 or 5 without giving up Salomon, it's a great brand, just can't recommend this style.

The shoes lasted less than 4 months of daily use before the eyes of the lacing system failed. Also note that I do a lot of walking, but the tears in the Gore-Tex lining and the peeled rubber are quite noticeable compared to other shoes I've had.
