The Osaka French Press worked exactly as described, although I was a bit skeptical at first. This is a well-made and attractive coffee maker. I liked that there were suggestions on how to make the best drink and the packaging was better than expected. Looks better live than online. The video wasn't very helpful as it showed coffee drinkers and not the press itself. It was meant to show how the bottom mechanism works to keep the soil from getting inside. All in all a great purchase. I'll update in a while to see how it holds up in daily use.
