Not the worst value and face value, but build quality is cheap. Very thin and fragile plastic construction. He couldn't take a fall. The style is comfortable. The flashlight function works well. The radio itself leaves a lot to be desired. Reception is fuzzy and sound is piercing and tinny. I would definitely not use this radio for everyday use. At $20 this seems like good value for a NOAA warning radio. The sum of these parts makes it a toy. Spend a little more and buy a better radio.
