The leash is quite lightweight. Both clasps are in exactly the same place so there is no versatility. It's measures about 26" when the clasp is connected to the leash to form a loop. Which means that I can barely get it around my waist. Otherwise, you need to just loop it around your shoulder, but I really wanted it to wear around my waist. Guess I can't gain any weight or it won't fit! It would be nice if the placement of the clasp allowed two different sizes of loops at each end. Not the greatest, but it's been working for the small dogs I walk.
