I bought this product to capture Hi-8 video from a Sony Handycam. The product arrived quickly, the connection was easy. The Windows 10 PC did not recognize the product and therefore did not work. I emailed the company and in less than an hour (the email was sent late on a weekend) I received a response with several options for the drivers to try and photo instructions. The first driver worked and the product is very easy to use. 10 tapes over, another box ahead. Keep in mind that this is a tape-to-digital recording, so it doesn't improve the quality of the recording, but it doesn't degrade it either. The editing software is easy to use, there are better ones, but it's free and perfect for my needs. Recommend this product.
