Advice for MCAS Sufferers
I like the blanket itself, but my daughter (diagnosed with MCAS) has a reaction to this supposedly pure cotton blanket, even after many washes and airings on the street. There are some suspicious fibers or chemical coatings that won't wash off. I trust her. Thank god she doesn't react to the blanket and it helped her a lot. And thank God the blanket is well sewn and does not leak. We've only washed it twice in 6 months (gentle cycle, air dry outside) and luckily it's still holding up. We wish we could use the cover and just wash it. Spring.
