Review on Shea Moisture Purple Rice Water Strength & Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner Set - 13.5oz Shampoo, 12.5oz Conditioner by Crystal Forrest

I bought this product because it came up in a search for 'the best purple shampoo'. The results of the search showed that this is the best product for lightening blond hair and restoring the elasticity of curls. However, since I'm bleaching my naturally curly hair, I figured it would be a win-win; it wasn't what i expected. The product I used previously was a very thick dark purple shampoo that visibly lightened my blonde after one use and I only had to use it once a week. This product is lavender in color, very thin and watery. I used it every other day for 14 days and didn't notice any difference to my blonde or my curly hair. Of course, this has to be effective for someone else it wouldn't show up in the best product search, but it just doesn't work for me. Let's go back to the salon for expensive things. I think it's true, you get what you pay for!
