Review on ACDelco 18B538 Professional Rear Brake by Narendra Thapa

Both new drums require a mechanical overhaul to function. I expected a new drum to fit right out of the box, but this one didn't. They were installed with new pads and made horrible noises when first started. After disassembly, irregularly shaped spots appeared on the surface of the boots. The drums were taken to a repairing machine for measurement and confirmed to have a deformed profile. Both drums were overhauled and worked perfectly afterwards. Hopefully they can now withstand regular use and not deform anytime soon.
