Review on 👜 Weston Vacuum Sealer Food Bags: Quart Size, 100 Count, 8x12 – Transparent and Durable by Jennifer Davis

I love my FoodSaver 5800, but I don't like paying $500 for their brand of vacuum bags (the exaggeration is entirely justified because while they don't cost hundreds of dollars, they are always way more expensive than Weston (except when Costco sells a great bag and roll combo package for under $30). As someone who uses an insane amount of pouches daily (due to frequent vacuum cooking + bulk shopping and storing in a separate freezer) I wanted an affordable yet quality replacement and chose these Weston pouches as recommended by ChefSteps . . While not on the same level of quality as the FoodSaver bags, they definitely get the job done. On the plus side, I've had no trouble getting the FoodSaver to recognize Weston bags, no sealing issues so far, and no accidental leaks when making sous vide.
