Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

I bought it 2 days after the camera itself, I do not regret it at all. Kit put in a box and did not get it anymore :)

After some time, I also took a Sigma AF 50-150mm F2.8 II, but also for street portraits, when it is possible to change the lens, and indoors I still use a "clean" fifty kopeck piece (also because of the size).

Focal <=50mm is taboo for me due to distortion, so for me it is a complete replacement for a KIT lens.

I agree with the previous positive reviews, except for the "narrow scope".

Pros

Low price, high aperture and sharpness. Excellent workmanship. Despite the shortcomings, the lens is definitely worth the money.

Cons

Not USM, inconvenient manual / auto focus switch, not very convenient focus ring. At aperture 1.8, there is significant chromatic aberration in backlit situations and around bright objects.
