Review on Safavieh Natural Fiber Collection NF441B Marble/Grey Border Sisal Area Rug, 3' x 5' by Nicole Shrestha

This rug is exactly what we were looking for in our new 'minimalist' / modern home - we have taupe colored hardwood (shades of gray and beige) with dark - and light gray walls and a dark gray sofa. We wanted something simple that would blend in rather than stand out like a pattern and also provide some contrast to the dark sofa and wall. In addition, it helps to brighten the room. We have a 9' x 12' that looked so HUGE when we first unfolded it but fit perfectly in our large room under our couches. Being a natural fiber it's not plush or soft, it can be a little scratchy but it's a lot softer than I thought it would be. We have two dogs, a golden retriever and a black and gray mix, and there is no visible hair on the carpet. We got a small scuff on the first day, but it went away with a damp cloth dipped in a little carpet cleaning spray. Our Roomba also goes through there and cleans great. Our daughter sat on the floor last night and while it wasn't exactly a soft pillow it was fine. Barefoot might seem a bit rough, but it doesn't hurt or bother you.
