I am very happy with this rug. It looks great, vacuums easily, gives the room a natural feel (similar to Japanese tatami mats) and installs in just a few days. The first day I got it the fibers were a little scratchy and I was a bit worried but after about 3 days the fibers had settled down and walking was much more comfortable. I needed 18ft of rubber and the options are limited, especially for natural materials. It has great reviews and I laughed a bit at the negative ones that said it was rough and scratchy. Well, they weren't kidding! We can't even walk on it. (We don't wear shoes at home.) I wouldn't recommend this unless used where people wear shoes. Also, the color of the jute part is a mixture of gray and beige, not pure gray. If I knew that, I'd get charcoal on charcoal appearing uniformly gray.

Natural fiber carpet is not just natural fiber carpet. This rug is good and perfect for low traffic areas which is why I chose it. But I wouldn't recommend it for high traffic areas.
