In 5 years on the reef this is the best pump I have ever had. I have a 240G 6ft double overflow tank. I used to stick to the Rio and/or Mag series, but I've always been annoyed at how noisy they were in my office. I recently upgraded to a new Apex controller and decided it was time to upgrade to a regulated pump and get rid of the noise pollution. in my office. This pump is literally dead. The only sound you hear is water flowing out of my return lines. I have this pump working at 60% and for my 240g flow it's enough.
