I installed this setup on my 240g predator tank and it is amazing. Definitely moves water and is very quiet. Love being able to control the controller which mounts nicely in my closet with the included bracket. Very happy with the purchase and will be using these pumps for my next upgrade.

Couldn't be happier to buy this pump, super quiet, very powerful, runs on a custom 160 gallon tank, I've got it up to 1 1/4"T (that's the starting size), then each reduced to 3/4" to double the return through the center trap overflow. Return outlets are about 68" high, flow is strong and currently only on setting number 2. Only set up for a week and all is ok, will update if anything changes.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. I bought the pump in August 2017 and it worked perfectly for 2 months. I was happy with that. Then one day it started making a very loud noise even when I was driving it at low speed. I contacted CoralVue and they basically blamed my plumbing. They said the pump was designed for 1 1/4" tubing and since I was using 3/4" tubing it was my fault. Plumbing or creating a drain line in my sump (which I already have) Coralvue support didn't help at all. I would not
