Review on KYB 343352 Excel-G Gas Shock: Superior Performance and Durability by Kevin Jacobson

I bought a pair for the back of my BMW. KYB is a great and reliable brand here in Asia, but they don't sell euro car products here. So I bought them from Amazon and sent them here. The offer was very good for the price. However, I was disappointed with the pair I received. The build quality and looks are excellent, but when I tried to test them and hand press the shafts, the difference in resistance between the two shocks was very noticeable. One had me putting my body weight into it. On the other hand, I could only use one hand with little effort. I checked the part numbers and they were the same. The difference in "performance" just baffles me. I hope they don't stand out when I install them on the car.
