Due to the slim cut of some modern jeans, space for your wallet is kept to a minimum. I wanted something with minimal design and weight but with enough capacity to fit everything you need. It really makes it beautiful. There is room for 6 cards or for my use 3 credit cards and licenses as well as health and auto insurance cards. Your bills are slightly larger than bills and fit securely under a support bar that conveniently lifts to loosen your hold on your bills. The wallet smells strongly of leather from the box, but I find the smell warm and masculine, so I didn't pay attention. The outer leather has an almost linen-like texture, which I also like, and it cushions the normal wear and tear from everything in your bag, like keys and maybe a few coins. The rear spine, where the wallet folds, contains a metal money anchor clip and the stitching that insulates this spine creates a convenient gripping area when you reach into your pocket to retrieve it. I've never liked a basic money clip that only holds cash and this offers a good compromise between size and actual functionality.
