Overall, this is great value for money with two small drawbacks. I use this in my 32 gallon planted freshwater aquarium. It is very powerful for its size and runs silently even at maximum power. I currently use 30 to 50 percent power cycling throughout the day, which allows for good water flow without overwhelming plants and fish. So why not 5 stars... Well, the cable to the shaft generator is very quiet and retains "memory". This complicates positioning and cable routing due to the severe kinks the magnet negotiates. The second and more serious problem is how to connect to wifi every time you want to change settings. Ideally, this connects to my home network and allows control without first changing my phone's WIFI connection. Again, this is a minor issue compared to the overall cost of this shaft generator.
