There must have been a firmware update as there are a number of reviews saying you need to connect your own dedicated WiFi to the pump to use it but that is not true. I was able to connect both pumps to the main WiFi and I can program them from anywhere using the app (iOS) without switching networks. The iOS app works perfectly. Replaced a broken Jebao SW2 wave generator with an Aqamai KPS in my IM Nuvo 10 reef tank with lots of SPS. ). The Aqamai KPS in random mode at full speed (which should be 1050g/h) seems underpowered for its performance as others have noted. I would say that KPS has a true maximum flow rate of no more than 700 gallons per hour.
