Review on 🌊 AQAMAI KPS Wi-Fi Connected Wavemaker Pump 370 to 1050 GPH by Hydor by Justin Falker

There must have been a firmware update as there are a number of reviews saying you need to connect your own dedicated WiFi to the pump to use it but that is not true. I was able to connect both pumps to the main WiFi and I can program them from anywhere using the app (iOS) without switching networks. The iOS app works perfectly. Both pumps are displayed in the app and controlled independently. Programming is done in 30-minute increments over 24 hours. For every 30 minutes you can select the type (random, constant, wave, etc.), min/max power and frequency (for wave). The minimum flow rate is 5%, so you can't stop it completely, and the frequency varies from 250ms to 2.5s in 250ms increments. I would have liked more detail in the frequency setting, but overall I'm satisfied. They are very quiet and very small, the pump is about the size of an average hen's egg. I have two tanks of 7g each with one of these pumps.
