My 1999 VW Passat V6 had a bent intake valve and there are many ways on youtube to remove it, I went with the easiest way - get a tool. By the way, there are many tools for removing valves, I chose this tool for its value. What could be worse for under $20, right? All I can tell you is that this tool does a great job of relieving me of the tremendous hassle involved in obtaining and installing holders. Note: The tool comes without instructions, it is very easy to use, just place one end with the extension screw on top. valve, the other end with an extension screw on top of the spring. Then squeeze it, the valve cones will pop out, use the magnet to remove both cones. That's all. What a great tool that I would definitely recommend to everyone. The build quality of this tool is above average, no issues as other reviewers have mentioned regarding bending. I have no problems with this tool.
