After reading the reviews we can summarize. 1-) Many people want the lamp to be equipped with a photo sensor so that it does not turn on during the day. 2-) Some people don't realize that this is primarily for a light above you with an unobstructed view and a lamp aimed down 3-) MOST IMPORTANTLY, the quality control on them really sucks! Mine picks up movement well at about 20 feet, but then mysteriously goes into off mode after 90 seconds and immediately back on, and this lasts for hours. I'm sure that neither humans nor cats nor cars nor spaceships are the cause of this. Other reviewers can't seem to get this to work at all, and others have bought multiple copies just to have some work perfectly and others not work from the same batch. That's bad quality and nothing more. I called customer service and tried another device as suggested. Same results. Now I have to send it back for another try. What a problem for a $10 lightbulb. Great idea - poor quality control!
