Great product, not so good instructions.

I just installed this on my 2012 backbone in about 20 minutes! The product itself looks very high quality, almost OEM, and it's nice that you don't have to splice any cables. Everything was very well done harness connector. The instructions are small, but I'll save you time trying to locate the wire harness, fuses, and relays.1. There is a small black box under the dashboard to the right of the steering column. It has a blue band and it's quite high. Simply plug in the box and mount or secure with a zip. The 2 relays included in the kit are located under the dashboard on the left above the main fuse box. It's waaaay there and the relays face up so you can't see them or access them from below. You need to remove the small panel on the dashboard between the door and the dashboard. Then you can hardly see the relay panel in one of the tiny holes. You can take a flathead screwdriver and pry up the relay assembly and it will fall down, still attached to the wiring harness.3. The 7-pin harness is located in front of the storage compartment at the back of the truck. Hidden high up again, this time wrapped in a green ribbon. It also has a lid that you will remove and discard. If you are installing a brake controller, make sure you have a Honda wiring harness that connects the controller you purchased to the Honda wiring harness. This wiring harness is located under the dashboard to the left of the steering column. Again waaaaay up there and blue tape on it.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Annoying
