We bought two boxes of pens to do our kitchen and two bathrooms. That should have been more than enough, but we read in the reviews that the quality wasn't very good, so we ordered extra. We started in the kitchen. After reading the reviews, we checked the quality of the pens along the way. Some of the handles were uneven when placed handle up on the countertop. So we eliminated everything that wasn't on par. Then we checked them for scratches and roughness. We found that many of the pens were defective in some way. We made three stacks, one for those that could be used. One stack was for slightly defective pins that could be used in less visible areas and the other stack was for unusable pins. There were a lot of screws, and they fit perfectly in the doors of drawers and cabinets. We were able to complete the project even with defective handles. The handles look very nice on the pedestals and minor imperfections are only visible up close. The price of the pens was so good that we are happy with the result.
