I had problems with the installation due to the shape of my car's hood. I've done it myself. I took my time (several hours) and worked slowly and patiently. There were still some bubbles and creases to work with. Money saved as no professional installation was done but still looks great. I will still be happy if I can get 1 year of it. My car is 2003 with almost 270,000 miles so every addon is an improvement. Especially if the paintwork is deteriorating. I have ordered enough roll to have extra stock to cover other outdoor areas. Also arrived well packaged. There are no complaints about delivery and packaging. Over time I may swap out the hood for a real carbon fiber hood, but for now I'm happy with the new look.

Pros

This vinyl can be applied with 3M 94 Primer and 3M Edge Sealant, recommended by the 3M Vinyl Training Class, these products improve adhesion and extend the life of your vinyl. Sealers or primers will not strip the adhesive, warp the vinyl, or ruin the texture unlike cheaper quality vinyl.
