Backlight makes reading easier on a clear day
Great digital thermometer. Easy to install, calibrate and place in my truck's cab. I really appreciate the voltage readings which help identify both the battery and the alternator. The backlight makes it easy to read even in bright sunlight. It would help if the power cord had a built in switch as I have to unplug it at times when I won't be driving the truck for a week or so. This prevents the battery from discharging when not in use for a long time.
