Tojock EVP-101 Blu-ray/DVD/USB player

I just received the player so I can't report on its long-term reliability, but I can report on its functionality. First the reason for the purchase and hopefully some of you will get in touch; I have 2 very expensive Sony and LG Blu-Ray players and I hate them both. I had 15 people to watch a movie in my garden over the weekend and like the previous 3 times it took forever for the movies to 'play' on the Sony/LG players. Blu-ray will take long time to load on Sony/LG, 15 people need to watch numerous previews just to get to "Play" splash screen. The Play/Eject button on Sony/LG devices marks or ejects the film. This dance continues until the film finally begins. Very frustrating when 15 people are watching! The remotes either didn't do anything or they usually displayed a red circle with a slash that alerted me the operation wasn't allowed. So back to the unnamed cheap player - the unit loaded both DVD and Blu-Ray in seconds [wow!], the fast-forward buttons let me preview [Yeah!], and the movies played with either the remote button or the play button. button on the device [smiles]. Why is it so difficult for Sony/LG? Are they making you watch THEIR movie previews? Another note: during breaks in movies I play old [MPG4] video clips from the 50's via USB, this unit starts playing as soon as I plug in the USB port. Patch cables are required! Oh yeah, the box just says it's a DVD player. I assure you it also plays Blu-Ray. Today I received an email from the seller/manufacturer saying they are correcting the wording on the packaging but I already knew about it from reading the reviews....
