The vacuum cleaner has a very beautiful rose gold finish. It comes with numerous accessories and extensions. It is boxed and looks very similar to the branded robot vacuums I own. The charging station itself looks and behaves identically. My first test with the device was on carpet. He worked thoroughly and many times drove through the areas where he didn't get into the mud the first time. Whenever it came to cords and the cord wound into the brush, it would stop almost immediately to prevent the cord from being knotted too tightly. It was nice to see that it had a pretty fast response rate for that matter. He accidentally got into my pile of dirty clothes, bumped into the clothes and stopped. The top is smooth, and it didn't happen in places where my brand would get caught under furniture. The smooth top kept it from snagging under my dressers. Of course it depends on the release. When it hit a bottleneck, the vacuum leaned back and rotated several times until it was free. I found that intuitive. The dirt bin is quite large and can hold enough dirt, dust, hair, etc. The brushes are long and sweep in the vacuum quite well. There are many people and animal skins. For my family that needs to be cleaned after each use. There is a tool for that too. As for the noise, it's pretty quiet. There's a slight buzz, but nothing fun or loud about it. It's definitely quiet enough to run at night. It's a lot quieter on the noise scale than my old brand of robot vacuums. Overall, my conclusion is that it does a thorough yet light cleaning job. It doesn't work like a handheld vacuum. The edges along the walls aren't very good either. If he works daily, then he has the opportunity to maintain a relatively well-groomed appearance of the area. A thorough vertical job can be done weekly for a really deep clean.
