Review on Bluebird Martingale Pet Collar - Nylon Guardian Gear by Barbara Robinson

We bought this for our Jack Russell a few months ago and it works great. We've used a choke lead before, and it tended to snag once tightened and wouldn't let go. At the same time, he tenses up when he pulls and weakens when he falls back. It's a lot easier to go with and we don't feel as bad when it pulls that hard as it's a smoother/all around tighter and quicker solution so it's easier to breathe. The reason we chose this choke collar is because Jack Russells tend to have thicker necks compared to their head size. It's hard to tell by looking at them, but if you try putting a "regular" collar on them and taking them for a walk, they can crawl out right away. This will prevent him from escaping even if he tries to escape while we are holding on.**Note** When we received this collar we had issues with him fighting us on our walks. I'm not saying it calmed him down but after we bought this and started using it he stopped pulling as much and really enjoys walking (rather than trying to pull and pull in different directions to run, but free).
