I bought these tires to replace the stock Innova tires that came with my Diamondback Hybrid. The Innova tires lasted five years, but since I never changed them, the rear wore out faster than the front, so I decided to replace both. The profile on the Innova looks the same as it did on the Continental Ride Tour and I think that's what I should have gotten. I bought these because the reviews and description said they were for added puncture protection. I ride an average of 10 miles a day, 8 months a year, and the bike stays at home all year round. I ride my bike 95% of the time on flat paved paths and roads. He rarely drives off-road, on paved paths or on gravel. In terms of speed, I didn't notice any reduction in rolling resistance compared to my old tires and as the tread is quite smooth I definitely don't corner as confidently with these tyres. Maybe time will tell and they'll get better with wear. I've only ridden it about 50km so far. They're ok, but I'm not particularly impressed. I think a continental tour would be a better option for less money. So if you're on the fence I would go for the cheaper option. The reflex was also an added bonus. But I rarely drive in the dark so it wouldn't matter anyway. As others have said, and I agree, the tire collects small rocks in the tread that you have to push out from time to time.
