It has a smooth surface and is very easy to clean. I'm on a weight loss watch so I weigh everything! The numbers on the display are big and bright. It has a large surface area for weighing products. I love that the Tate button subtracts the weight of my bowl or plate that I'm weighing food in. I love that it only uses 2 AAA batteries. The scale does not change the weight of the products while they are on the scale. It measures food in pounds, ounces, g and ml. I press the display button to change the display to how I want to weigh food. If I forget to turn off the scale, it turns off automatically after a few minutes. I am very happy with the performance of the scale. These scales are excellent value for money. It's small, sleek and precise!
