I don't just say "they're the best," I say them because I live far north in Wisconsin where it's very cold, so a good humidifier or two in the house is a must , Otherwise, a convection oven will become so dry that your nostrils will sting like they're on fire. Your skin dries out. It's awful so I've been using large humidifiers around the house for decades and have learned from experience that I've tried other brands and nothing works like a real AIRCARE wick. They're built better for you, but it's all about the wick. Their wicks simply attract far more water than any other, allowing the humidifier to maintain the desired level of humidity. Other cheap fake wicks have problems and cannot maintain humidity so the humidifier runs non-stop and never catches up even when there isn't much heat and it shouldn't be heavy. Yes I was trying to save some money and just got a wick that didn't work. In this case it is true, you get what you pay for. You want a wick that outperforms them all, get AIRCARE.
