. This Tesla mount is specially designed to hold your iPad on the center console cover of your Tesla. With the lid up, attach the parts that snap into place, then simply slide your iPad into the brackets. It is available in different sizes. So if you have thin or thick center console cover, it can be adjusted. I have a 2020 Model Y so I used the largest parts as my console cover is pretty flimsy. When the pieces snap together, the lid doesn't move at all, keeping your iPad securely in place. This is great because if I'm in the car with my niece for a long time I can put up some videos for her and she won't be able to reach it to play around with it and she will be entertained. I also look forward to longer trips with friends, they can play a film on the iPad while driving and it doesn't get boring sitting in the back. I had a little trouble taking them off at first, but the instructions include a QR code that links you directly to some donning and doffing videos. When not in use, you can put the parts in a velvet pouch and store them somewhere in the car. I was concerned that the rubber would smell bad as many rubber products tend to do, but rubber has no odor. no odor and left no odor on my hands so that was a huge plus! The plastic also looks high-quality and durable. Overall I think it's well designed and very useful, especially with kids or on long trips.
