Review on Pressing Natural Ironing Quilting Station by Kelsey Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect abs every time!

I've been using this wool ironing mat for a few weeks. I've heard wonders about wool rugs and how much faster and cleaner the ironing is, but for the most part I've been happy with my desk ironing board. I never liked pulling out my full size board as it was cumbersome and I liked the convenience of the smaller option. A few weeks ago I upgraded my sewing station to an "L" drawer table which is about 22" x 15". Initially I knew I would be using this extender to support the weight of my blankets and give me more work space overall. Then I found this rug and for the size and price I just had to try it. When I pull out the table extension I put this rug in and I can press quickly in the middle of my project without having to pull out and set up each ironing board. And I've never seen a fabric wring out so quickly and so perfectly. Sometimes when I'm done pressing, I like to put my hands on the mat and feel all the heat radiate back into my hands - it's like a warm hug. The bag of ideas that comes with it is cute and I don't penalize the product for that, but the ideas are definitely of lower quality than the rug and I probably won't use them personally, but they are a good backup just in case. .TL;DR - This mat is awesome, fits in small spaces, is very comfortable and best of all, it presses perfectly every time!
