Review on Groundplan by Daniel Jenkins

The ability to create takeoff plans using ground plan symbols or aerial images is great, as well as being able to calculate accurate dimensions for building construction purposes! I dislike that it does not have any sort of automatic calculation option available - you must enter each item individually which can be very time consuming if there are many items/structures involved in your project (like us!). There's also no way at this point to add our own custom icons like we could do with some other software platforms out here now days so all those little circles look just really ugly compared to something more professional looking than what they currently offer. We're solving dimensioning issues related to large projects where calculating them by hand would take weeks! It allows multiple people who may never meet up face-toface but work together from different locations around Australia / New Zealand etc.
