Review on πŸ”Š Syba External USB Stereo Sound Adapter: Enhance Audio Source on Windows, Mac, Linux with Mic Jack - C-Media Chipset by Brian Rogel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Disappointing, don't buy this if you're using it with a mic.

I bought an external SYBA USB stereo audio adapter for my Antlion ModMic 5 to hopefully remove some of the noise my motherboard mic port makes, unfortunately it was a lot worse in comparison much louder, clearer buzz and significantly quieter mic feedback. It's cheap and will do if your audio ports are dying, but if you're looking for something to boost the quality of your mic you should probably look elsewhere. The device is also wider than most standard USB devices, allowing it to block ports on either side. This was tested both directly on the mainboard and with a powered USB hub. Pros: + Cheap + Audio outputs. Cons: - Cheap build quality - Poor microphone quality - Blocks nearby USB ports.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
