I love these lightbulbs. the best in terrariums Heat Lamps and Mats

They generate heat but if it smells or something it's not the lamps, it's a malfunction in the unit. I like them for the extra warmth, I live in a cold place and the warmth adds to the overall warmth of my aquarium and the reflective spacers create lots of light. Love this product so far.
