Here's why: If you use this case every day, you'll find that you can't stick your phone in a horizontal (horizontal) position on most surfaces and leave it attached with magnets because it won't support the weight. Because whoever designed this case put the magnet down like a total nerd. I have no idea why they put the locking mechanism as the thing you press...it would be better if my phones weren't on display and I had wireless charging. The locking system is also impractical for most people, it is designed for security. Okay, in this case make it mountable, but I want my phone to be completely secure without having to press a locking system. don't magically jump out of your hand. Yes it is open at the back, I can see the back of my phone. Water can easily penetrate at any time. Or something like a mistake...really, and that was bad.
