So far so good. Wanted some speakers in the basement laundry room. So far they've worked well. I don't expect high fidelity from a Bluetooth device, but they put out decent sound. The instructions aren't very clear, but a speaker is active, which means it's connecting to a Bluetooth transmitter. A shorter set of cables is then connected from this speaker to the "passive". Although the receiver has four cable inputs, the second set of cables is shorter and will not suffice unless your distance from that speaker to the receiver is very short. Comes with a small screwdriver to connect wires to the receiver (turn the small screw to the left, insert the end of the speaker wire into the small clamp at the top if it falls, then turn to the right to release it to tighten).
