Audio can't work as it should

I bought this device to live stream our services on Facebook (as a backup/replacement) for a device we've been using for over a year (I have so some experience with live streaming). Our setup uses a DVD recorder (with inputs from the camera and our sound system) connected to the unit with an HDMI cable, a Windows 10 Pro computer connected via a USB 3.0 cable, and a small TV (connected via HDMI) for monitoring. Service. Our church is set up so that the user can access the computer for live broadcasts and the computer has its own audio input for the sound system. Once the device was connected and added to OBS Studio, the video worked fine but no sound. According to the user manual, the device's microphone must be configured in Windows. The instructions were definitely not for Windows 10, but I was able to set up the microphone using "Listen to this device", but only as a computer administrator. Device audio still didn't work in OBS Studio, but desktop audio was now visible. Normally, when broadcasting live, the sound is muted on the computer's desktop, otherwise we get a delayed audio track of what we're broadcasting from the sound system (which is unacceptable). When trying to record with this device, I received a second set of audio. When I turn off the desktop sound, I have no sound on live TV. When I logged in as a user, OBS Studio only showed the sound of the device and it didn't work. Despite all this, this box did not meet our requirements, so I had to return it. This is the second recording device with a microphone jack that does not work with OBS Studio. Many of these devices are largely unsupported; but my troubleshooting showed in device manager that both were "not migrated" due to "mismatch". I don't know if it was a hardware issue with Windows 10 Pro, but without support I'll never know. The device may work well for those who use it differently on another operating system. but that was unacceptable for our purposes.
