Review on 🚗 TPS Throttle Position Sensor: 89452-35020 89452-30140 89452-22080 - Toyota 4Runner Celica Hilux Matrix T100 Tacoma Tundra Pontiac Vibe by Jeremy Carpenter

I recently replaced this part on my Tacoma because a code came up. The installation is not the easiest due to the proximity to the firewall. You can't get to it without removing the throttle body. This part fits the throttle body snugly, but the connector does not snap and is loose enough to easily disengage. I used safety wire (you can also use a well placed zip tie) to keep it connected. It seemed to run fine for a few miles, then the truck started to rough and sometimes stall at idle. I have returned this item for a full refund. I went ahead and ordered one from the dealer ($80!). It fits in the fork as it should and works great. The bottom line here is that some of these aftermarket items work correctly and some don't. This is the one you should only buy OEM.
