Update 11/24/21 I contacted the company about my non-working cover, they were happy to replace it. It makes me happy. I like it a lot but there are 2 locking mechanisms. One of those is the flip-top lid, which closes by itself with a nice click, and that's usually all I've used. There's also a manual lock that sits on a hinge and keeps the flip lid locked. This is great if you have curious kids. Use the lock cover, this is the very first lock that broke. It's a tiny plastic lip that just broke. After that was gone, this very handy bottle became unhandy at all. I've contacted support but haven't heard anything yet. I'll update when I do.
